Let me introduce myself and our company: My name is Susanne Dessaive, founder and Managing Director of DESSAIVE Selected.

The idea for my curated online shop was born in 2013 at the Ambiente fair in Frankfurt during a press tour with my camera team. As a journalist and founder of the communications agency medianetcom (specializing in moving image communication and TV press work), I was fascinated by innovative design pieces from small manufacturers. Together with a business partner, we toyed with the idea of launching an online shop – and made it happen.

In 2014, I founded deSaive deSign as sole proprietor: A shop for upscale interior design and accessories from Europe. What started as a side project quickly grew into a full-fledged business.

Today, as DESSAIVE Selected Ltd., we have evolved: Our focus is on projects & contract furnishing – custom contract solutions for hotels, offices, restaurants and public spaces. Sustainability, individual consulting and exclusive partnerships with European designers (many from Portugal) are at the core.

The retail segment with luxurious home accessories continues – as inspiration and complement.
